กระดูกไก่ขาวเป็นพรรณไม้ที่มีลำต้นเป็นพุ่มขนาดย่อม ลำต้นมีความสูงได้ประมาณ 3-4 ฟุต มีขนาดโตเท่าหัวนิ้วมือ ลำต้นและแผ่นใบสีเขียว ขยายพันธุ์ด้วยวิธีการเพาะเมล็ด
    ออกใบดกเป็นพุ่ม ปลายใบแหลมเรียว โคนใบสอบเล็ก ส่วนกลางใบกว้าง ริมขอบใบเรียบไม่มีหยัก 
    ออกดอกเป็นช่อ ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก เป็นสีขาว
